And if you are too lazy to read those posts here are my top 4 meat related gifts for Father’s Day this year:
Steaks from Snake River Farms
Snake River Farms has a number of different gift packs that contain a collection of impressive steaks. These gift packs start at under $100 and go up from there depending on what you are wanting to spend. Or if you want to go with some individual steaks you can’t get more impressive than an American Wagyu Tomahawk steak. And it is hard to go wrong with a classic like a nice prime ribeye. If he is into smoking I would suggest an American Wagyu brisket.
Thermoworks Smoke Thermometer
I use my Thermoworks Smoke most every time I fire up the grill. The two probe setup let’s me accurately measure the air temperature and the meat temperature at the same time. It has some high and low alarms you can set that will alert you if things are getting too hot or if you need to adjust the grill temperature. The remote unit can be a lifesaver too if you have to step away from the grill for a while.
Everyone with a grill needs a good thermometer and the Thermoworks Smoke is one of the best out there. For only $99 it is a great value too.
Grill Masters Club Subscription
Every month Grill Masters Club will deliver a new box that contains a full size bottle of a small batch barbecue sauce, a rub, and some other grilling accessories. You can subscribe for 1, 3, 6, or 12 months. I usually recommend the 3 month subscription ($29.95 per month) as that will give dad a good sampling of different rubs, seasonings, and flavors. Any more than that and his fridge might start overflowing with sauce.
For the next couple weeks Grill Masters Club is offering some great discounts on some of their different subscription options as well:
$5 off a single month with code GMCFATHERS
$10 off a 3 month subscription with code GMCFATHERS3 (recommended)
$15 off a 6 month subscription with code GMCFATHERS6
$20 off a 12 month subscription with code GMCFATHERS12

Aaron Franklin Masterclass
If your dad is a big barbecue fan he has probably heard of Aaron Franklin before. As the owner of Franklin Barbecue in Austin, TX Aaron Franklin cooks 100+ briskets a day and does it better than anyone. And in this 16 lesson Masterclass Aaron Franklin will share how to do Texas barbecue right.
Aaron Franklin will teach how to cook standard Texas barbecue like brisket, pork ribs, and pork butt but also goes into topics like fire and smoke, wood, and how to properly use an offset smoker. I have eaten at Franklin Barbecue and if this class can even get someone close to what they serve there it will be well worth the $90. And if your dad learns to cook this way you will probably benefit with some great food. Sign up for the Aaron Franklin Masterclass today.
