30 Cuts of Beef in 30 Days

Over the month of July I am going to take you on a journey through 30 different cuts of beef. Of course you know the more popular cuts like ribeye, filet mignon, brisket, and so on but I will also be covering a few cuts of beef you might have never thought of but should like beef cheeks, hangar steak, and some others.

What to expect:

Every day I will highlight a new cut of beef.  You will find some info on where the cut comes from, what cooking techniques are best for that cut, recipes I have found, and some other interesting tidbits you will have to come back to find out. Not every cut will be available in your local grocery store meat department so you might have to do some digging around to find a specialty butcher in your area or you can order some of the hard to find cuts online.

I will do my best to get a new post up every day in the month of July so be sure to come back daily. Be sure to follow me on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to stay up to date. If I miss a day don’t cry too much. I will make it up to you the following day.

I am excited to research these different cuts and will probably do plenty of testing myself. At this time I haven’t had the privilege to try all of them but I can think of at least 4 or 5 new ones I want to try this month. If you have any specific cuts you want me to cover hit me up and let me know. I probably have them on the schedule but if I don’t I would love to squeeze them in. As long as it isn’t liver. No way.

Day 13: Top Sirloin
Day 14: Filet Mignon
Day 15: Beef Tenderloin
Day 16: Beef Tongue
Day 17: Rib Eye Steak
Day 18: Cap of Ribeye
Day 19: Ribeye Filet
Day 20: Rib Roast
Day 21: Tomahawk Steak
Day 22: Skirt Steak
Day 23: New York Strip
Day 24: Beef Shanks
Day 25: Flat Iron Steak
Day 26: Round Roasts
Day 27: Ground Beef
Day 28: Marrow Bones
Day 29: Short Ribs
Day 30: T-Bone Steaks
